Wicked GOOD Crafts is my small company that started out as a revived interest in painting. Many years prior I had painted in oils but had to stop when my children were small to take care of them and just never got back to it. Fast forward fifty years and the children are long ago gone and have families of their own when I hear and see about people painting scenes and all manner of things on of all things, rocks! That brought back memories of the enjoyment I had years ago when I was painting so I purchased the paint and found some rocks in various sizes and began painting. Family and friends who saw my creations told me that they really liked my stones and that I should be selling them. So began my company called From Pebbles to Paintings.
Next comes Pebble Art where pictures are made using rocks and stone as people or objects or as a part of the same and composing a picture with them. A few months later I observed Seashells being used in this same manner, creating Shell Art and Sculptures and those were quite beautiful so they were also added to my product line along with candle holders using small vases filled partially with sand, then shells, and then a stationary votive cup with a candle. Now, there were enough varied products to begin participating in Craft Shows and Festivals but it would be too much for just one person, me. I asked my daughter, Laura Pierson if she would consider doing the craft shows with me and she agreed and wanted to know if she could add her handmade Fairy Gardens to the product line. Since her Fairy Gardens are beautiful, I gave her an enthusiastic Yes!
Since that time, the Fairy Garden creation has been passed to me as Laura is now creating gorgeous wreaths in both Mesh and Grapevine style that are so wonderful that we sold out of them at our last show. Although I seldom show my Handpainted Rocks, I still take my Pebble Art Pictures and I have also added MasonJar Art, some with varied designs and others using Floral arrangements as well as both Seasonal and Any Occasion Centerpieces. Those items with Laura's Wreaths make a full and varied inventory for sale. With the many changes to our products, we agreed that the name Pebbles to Paintings just didn't work anymore so we searched for ideas for a new name. Laura said that you know how some things are thought to be "sinfully sweet" well I believe our products are so good they're almost wicked. So, what about Wicked GOOD Crafts? We agreed that name would cover any change in products in the future too. NOW, WE ARE...

We have found that we work very well together and if something one of us has created is not quite right the other usually notices and points it out so that it can be corrected before it is displayed. We price our products in the moderate range as the point is to get our products in the hands of those who will enjoy them. If we can make a small profit, we are content.
