Handmade Seasonal Art created on Seashells
Every shell has a story. Our story began when we moved to North Carolina and started hunting for treasures that have washed ashore. Oyster shells are plentiful in our area, where we have enjoyed collecting them and envisioning what they could become. We saw the face of Santa Claus in their shape and thus our art business was born.
At first we sculpted clay faces onto the shells to make ornaments, then started placing them on handmade wood pieces. From start to finish, each piece takes hours to create, a process that allows each Santa to take on its own personality from the shape of the shell. We hope you enjoy them as much as we love creating them!
