Fountains for all Occasions was established in January, 2005. After experiencing a chocolate fountain at a wedding reception in the fall of 2004, owners Dar and Paul Lester decided to look into the possibility of starting a chocolate fountain rental business in the Birmingham area. Upon completion of a market research, they decided to go ahead and purchase one fountain. With their one fountain and a borrowed fountain, they rented a booth at the Southern Bridal Show @ the BJCC in January. Although a bit overwhelming for their first event, afterwards they were even more convinced that they had made the correct decision to embark into this line of business.
The Lester’s believe in doing business in a very professional manner and have already been labeled by some clients of offering the best customer service of any vendor. Included in the rental fee will be an attendant for the event. Dar and Paul are very “hands on” in their ownership and it is likely that one of them may be there serving as the attendant. The attendant will be there to set-up the fountain, assist the guests and keep the fountain clean, breakdown the fountain and remove it from the premises. There are absolutely no operational or cleaning concerns for their clients.
Dar says, “I like to make people happy”. For those who know her and those that don’t and will get to know her, that’s her main goal in life. Paul says, “every event is a celebration….that’s what makes this so much fun”.
