I have shown and sold my work in the Northwest region since 1998. I use handpainted and dyed fabrics and papers, plus various threads, feathers, and sometimes even coins, in my work. My imagery is abstract and representational, often depicting emotion or often just whimsy. I love playing with color and the joyit brings me when I create a piece that will enhance the everyday environment.
I have studied art and textile craft independently and with other art/teachers. I get inspiration from the study of the worlds various cultures and nature and integrate it in to my work.
