Frankfort Turns 150 Sesquicentennial Celebration. The community of Frankfort, Kansas, will be Honoring Our Past; Embracing Our Future (1867-2017) from June 15-18, 2017. Festivities include a historical walking tour featuring people and places throughout the history of our community re-enacted by local citizens. Other events will include a parade, fireworks, skeet shoot, old timers' baseball re-enactment, family movie night, games and events in the park, and ecumenical services on Sunday.
