Ocelot Prints is a small personal business that operates in Pownal, VT. Hand-carved linoleum blocks are printed onto various styles of Men's, Women's and Children's tee shirts. Additional hand brush work is applied to embellish the prints.
The designs are adapted from Native American, Primitive art also used are my own personal original designs. All shirts are printed with washable acrylic paint. The Ocelot is one of my favorite cats and has been threatened by extinction. My logo is a crude depiction of a cat with an extra leg to run faster from extinction.
I am 1/16 Mohawk Indian on my father's side, but my real inspiration is from multiple visits I took to Arizona, USA. I was drawn to the art, colors and stories of this area and it prompted me to create my own style of primitive art.
