I started GelCandleConnection because of a beautiful gift I received years ago. It was a gel candle with apple and cinnamon sticks in it. I'd never seen anything like it before. I absolutely loved it, so I tried not to light is so it wouldn't melt away, but it looked so beautiful with the gentle glow from the candle light that I just couldn't resist. Eventually, it was gone, and for years, I tried to find another without success. So I decided I'd just have to make my own.
After months of trial and error and a lot of burned fingers, GelCandleConnection was made. Mine, however, would never melt away! Embedded in the top of each candle is a glass tealight holder that I fill with scented gel and a wick, so you can enjoy the fundamentals of a candle while enjoying the design forever!
There's no need to fear that you won't be able to see all the decorations clearly because of too many bubbles as with some gel candles. My candles are painstakingly crafted for the perfect bubble ratio for maximum enjoyment!
Another big plus to having the refillable tealight holder is safety! The candle jar will never overheat, so the integrity of the jar is never compromised I also use only gel-safe scents in my refill candles, which you can order through Etsy at GelCandleConnection with over 20 scents to choose from.
All my candles are made with High Density Penreco Gel Candle Wax. It's the original, highest quality, crystal clear gel, and unless you bake these in the oven, everything will stay in its place. Gel burns twice as long as regular candle wax and since my tealight candles are larger than average, you will have over 20 hours of burn time!
The most fun is coming up with ideas to decorate them with. I have many designs and themes to choose from and am always adding more. If you don't see anything you like or have an idea in mind, custom orders are always welcome!
