The Annual Georgia Peanut Festival is held at T.C. Jeffords Park in Sylvester, Georgia, on the 3rd Friday and Saturday in October. The Georgia Peanut Festival is the record holder for making the world's largest peanut butter sandwich, 12 foot wide by 12 foot long in 1987. 

On the 3rd Friday and Saturday in October thousands of people will flock to Sylvester-Worth County to enjoy the festivities that will be going on throughout the weekend; if you haven't been yet, you don't know what you're missing! Thursday evening we will kick off the festival with a carnival in Jeffords Park.  Friday at 7:00 PM arts and crafts vendors will be set up and we will have entertainment in the park.  Saturday morning will being with a 5K Peanut run, the famous Peter Pan Peanut Butter Parade downtown and then thousands of people will flock to Jeffords Park for a fun day of entertainment, rides, crafts, food and our famous kidz corner.  

Everyone is invited to join us for a day of southern food, fun, and entertainment at the Annual Georgia Peanut Festival. It is a fun event for the entire family. We hope that you will join us in celebrating one of the largest industries in Georgia, at the Georgia Peanut Festival held right here in the heart of the Peanut Capital of the World!
