I'm Gerry Monteux, a Nikon professional and fine art nature photographer, specializing in iconic Maine landscapes and seascapes, with an emphasis on photographing the night sky. My other true love is wild animals, especially Moose, Puffins, and Harbor Seals.
I am also a gallery owner: Monteux Gallery, located in Hancock, where I happen to live. I've been a photographer for my entire life (so far), and turned professional roughly a dozen years ago.
Included in my concern is a print shop, where I produce all of my pieces. Although I don't build my frames, I consider all my products to be "hand made", since they're produced by me.
