Gerts Werks produces fine art and derivatives by artist designer Gertrude Palmer. Palmer is a senior artist since 1971.
Due to mobility issues, the artist displays out of a mini-van named Lulu, much like a food truck but an art truck.
Palmer has received multiple awards and invitations to show. Her work is ia hybrid of impressionism. Attraction and romanticism.
Her roots are in garment design, stone lithography, and watercolor. However in her 50 year career she has evolved and embraces new directions. Palmer is collected internationally.
Awards include but are not limited to: John Humbard Dickey Award Low Country Foundation Grant Tallahassee Annual Senior Artist.
