I have been creating art since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I won my first art contest in the second grade, placing 2nd in the Nation and getting a letter from the then President, President Carter. I have taken my love of sketching, painting, and photography and combined them in a unique way. I find reclaimed wood, old windows, driftwood, vintage old car pieces, and old homestead items, such as windows for example to create a unique story with my art. I love telling a tale of the past or the present with actual things I photograph or find on my adventures. For example, an old homestead window can host canvas paintings I create of birds, old tractors, or old cars I photograph along the way. Hence, my name Get Wild Girl Creations. I share my adventures exploring, hiking, climbing, kayaking, and more as a way to inspire ladies of all ages to "Get Outside and Live More" Get Wild Girl Creations is new this year. However, I have previously attended shows, helped with the marketing, creative ideas, design, set up, and display for other artists you may be familiar with; Burnt Image Photography and Scott Stone Photography. Feeling unappreciated I decided to use all my gifts to share the gifts of God with you all.
