I explore both the behavioral and structural attributes of living organisms, focusing on the procreative instinct and its myriad expressions of a primal hunger for life. Recently, I’ve tried to add another dimension to my sculpture, incorporating the effects of internal lighting. Electric light lets me animate the more currents of energy and a floating eroticism, creating sensous textures and violent tensions.
