My name is Hannah and I am the artist & sole proprietor of GorgesWireDesign. I started my small business in November 2023 and it was primarily formed to support my ever growing passion for the craft of making beautiful one-of-a-kind artisan jewelry and to connect with folks from all over who liked what I make. I like having the freedom to make what I want to and therefore a lot of my pieces are never made again once they find a person. I handpick almost all of my stones for pendants which also makes it rare to find the same design twice. My stones are all sourced from US based sellers, who purchase their stock from all over the world! I am especially in love with buying unique beads, colors, shapes, and designs and you'll find a large array of mixed media in my work; from glass, polymer clay, to beautiful stone beads.
I've always been a creative person, I grew up taking every art class under the sun. I really like learning how to depict what is going on in my imagination. I've tried drawing, oil painting, acrylic painting, water colors, but nothing has stuck quite so firmly as jewelry making. I am over the moon just when people stop and admire my work at festivals and other events, and even if they don't find anything that speaks to them I am thrilled to hold a conversation about my craft.
