Grant County Chamber of Commerce host an annual Festival in downtown Sheridan, AR the first weekend in October called Timberfest. Home of the Arkansas State Lumberjack Competition and the Go Hog Wild BBQ Cook-off. Vendors, food trucks and children's amusements available over a two festival.
Grant County Chamber of Commerce also host Christmas on the Square the first weekend in December every year. This Saturday will have the tree lighting ceremony, parade, Pictures with Santa and other activities. There is also a light show that runs from the first Saturday in December to January 1 on the courthouse square.
