Tina and Dave Griffith are the owners of Griffith Garden Art. They live in beautiful Black Mountain N.C. Tina has been here her whole life and Dave has been here for over fifty years. Dave works in residential construction and Tina works at a shop in downtown Black Mountain. Tina was given the opportunity to work with copper nearly twenty years ago and passed her knowledge on to Dave. So over the years they have taught each other a lot and continue to teach each other everyday. They both enjoy working with their hands and creating unique pieces. Their work is in several shops and galleries and are hoping to expand to even more. When the pandemic hit they had to scale way back due to not being able to get materials at an affordable price. Besides each piece being made from copper other materials we use are a patina, automotive paints and a gloss clear sealant. Our birdbaths and bird feeders do not have any finishes in the bottom of the pans to protect the birds and wildlife. We also use recycled materials when possible.
