The Guelph Celtic Orchestra is in its twelfth season, providing entertainment consisting of traditional Scottish, Irish, Canadian and other worldly fiddle music. We are about 25 members strong and our ensemble consists of fiddles, flutes, whistles, guitars, mandolin, accordion, bass and keyboard. We also have award winning step-dancers to top it off! The members are a mix of dedicated, amateur, semi-pro, and professional musicians. We also offer ceilidh dances, providing a professional and experienced caller to walk the participants through the steps, then we set the dance to a live band. This is ALWAYS a great time! The orchestra has had the privilege of playing the main stage of the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival, and has had phenomenal guests share the stage with us, such as Shane Cook, the Fitzgeralds, Liz Carroll and Jeremy Kittell.
