The Haldeman Mansion is listed with National And state as an historical site. We have several events there to raise money for preservation of this mansion. I am chair of the events committee. The pace was completed in 1811. Samuel Haldeman was born here in 1812 and was well known during his adult life as a scientist, writer and languages. He helped with the Webster dictionary among many other things. Check out our website.
