Halfway Home is a 5 piece band performing a mix of folk, country, and singer-songwriter tunes. We have been together as a group since 2003. Having performed in different bands over the years, with members having played everything from Celtic, bluegrass, traditional country, and folk, to full out rock & roll: All of this influencing our style and choices.
The band has performed at festivals and community concert series over the past 14 years, as well as in coffeehouses and roadhouses. The emphasis is on thoughtfully crafted arrangements of the music: whether it be an old familiar song that the audience can sing along to, one of our originals, or an adaptation of a song written by a contemporary singer/songwriter.
Members play a variety of instruments, including acoustic & electric guitars, mandolins, bass, percussion, accordion, bouzouki, banjo & resonator guitar.
The members of Halfway Home are Renilda Marshall, Patti Ramsey, Pat Casey, Brian Szuch and Michael Hale.
