Hamtramck Labor Day Festival, Hamtramck, MI
The Hamtramck Labor Day festival welcomes over 1/4 million people from throughout the Midwest. The festival features great food, including ethnic specialties and imported Polish beer. Other attractions include crafts, ethnic dancing, fashion shows, art displays, and a Children’s Zone with crafts, games, face painting and a carnival. Entrance to the festival is free. Ample parking is available around the festival area. The festival runs from noon to 10 p.m. all 3 days with the carnival area closing at 9 p.m. Capping off the festival will be the annual Polish Day Parade along Joseph Campau at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Labor Day.
