I hand paint glass and ceramics and etch glass. I use upcycled (recycled) materials as much as possible. I also do fine art paintings including minitatures and reverse glass paintings.
I began seriously drawing at the age of 9 and studied commercial art at a vocational high school in the early 1970s followed by The Pittsburgh Art Institute. Although my vocation has always been IT, art has always been my passion. And I have filled my life with it.
In the last 10 years I have become involved in community theater and I build and decorate sets as well as act and costume shows. After retirement I had so much time to indulge my passion for art and found myself with so many pieces that I simply needed to sell them to make room for the new pieces I just keep creating.
That is my story. I feel driven to create and love to do it.
