the Harlem (alter-knit-ive) Crafts Fair is an annual event held on the first weekend of december to highlight Harlem crafters, artists and artisans. It is held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Harlem (521 w. 126th st., bet. Amst. & Old Broadway), where there are several available event spaces all at reasonable prices. And, of course, you get the good feeling of knowing that your rental fee goes toward the church's many homeless and hungry outreach programs.
