After retiring from my 35 year career as an interior designer (Hastings-Hoffman Interiors) , I looked for various outlets for my creativity. I have always been an avid gardener and adored flowers and the power they have to bring beauty and color into our lives. Winters forced me to work with artificial flowers.
As a child I had grown up helping my mom make floral arrangements for the state fair competitions and was therefore fairly knowledgeable in the craft. So this was the natural outcome , floral arrangements with a twist.
Because of Covid, I found that making arrangements was therapeutic and enjoyable. It became my passion. I search out unusual containers that are not typically used for flowers. it became a challenge to my creativity and resourcefulness. I love making them and hope I bring a smile to your face and enjoy them too.
