The Homegrown String Band began performing together as a family in 1997. The band included Dad Rick on guitar, banjo, harmonica and vocals; Mom Georgianne on dulcimer, banjo ukulele, baritone ukulele, and doumbek; along with daughters Erica on fiddle and vocals and Annalee on mandolin, jaw harp, and vocals. Erica had to retire from performing at the end of 2018. After 22 years it was sad to see her go, but the band continues on as a trio, happily continuing the tradition of families playing music together. This brochure is a testament to the past 22 years. We look forward to the future and adding another page in our band's history.
