As of January 20, 2021, Idaho has a four-phase reopening plan, and Idaho is currently in stage 2 of that plan. The plan provides reopening guidelines during the 4 Phases of reopening in the state.

Although as of January 20, 2021 there is no general, statewide mask mandate across Idaho. Nevertheless, use of face coverings by the general public is strongly recommended, and face coverings are mandatory in a number of sector-specific settings. Further, employers should identify how personal use items such as masks, face coverings, and gloves may be required by employees, vendors, and patrons.
