International Eelpout Festival, Walker, MN

The International Eelpout festival is a 30 year annual event held on the frozen Leech Lake located in Walker Minnesota. The event revolves around a fishing contest for the largest and most fish caught while ice fishing for a slippery el like fish. over 15,000 attend this 3 day event which has been featured on the Jay Leno show and Animal planet. There is live entertainment nightly at 2 different tents. There is also a large well attended vendor and product vendor promotion area as well as sponsor ship opportunities for manufactures and retail vendors to show there products. Featured events are a polar plunge for charity and Eel pout races.
