Ishmael is a four piece progressive rock band that is greatly influenced by King Crimson, Frank Zappa, and Explosions in the Sky. Two members of the band (including myself) attend school at Wesleyan University, one is a music student at NYU's conservatory and the singer/bass player is in the music program at McGill.
We have played at multiple venues in New York City (including Cameo Gallery, Sidewalk Cafe, Death By Audio), Connecticut, Burlington and Montreal.
