Ivania Portocarrero, Mill Valley, CA

Colorful, beautiful, and joyful art that include beach scenes, city landscapes, landmarks, Hispanic flair, people, flowers, and folk art.  I lived in China, South Korea, and Turkey for nine years and those experiences have  influenced all work.  Although I returned to the states six years ago, the international influences of my life show up in the most wonderful ways in the context of my paintings. It is fun to see where they go because I what I plan is never what happens on a canvas.  I'd like to think I'm flexible.
