With over 3 decades of history in the professional music business, singer/songwriter/guitarist JJ Appleton's musical influences have been informed by a history of working directly with artists like David Bowie, Kesha, Joe Walsh, Jewel, Darius Rucker, Keb Mo, and Black Eyed Peas as a co-writer, sideman, producer and performer.
While JJ's writing talents have taken him through deep rock and roll with underground bands such as Carbon County, most recently it's JJ's longstanding partnership with award winning blues harp phenom Jason Ricci that has brought them both acclaim. Blues is the bedrock but Appleton's songwriting takes the music to soulful, gutbucket noir dreamlike places you may never want to leave.
