Jacob Farkas has over 15 years of experience in the visual arts. He graduated from The City University of New York with a BFA. Jacob is drawn to rich, vibrant color and a whimsical, narrative approach to painting. His characters are quirky painted with a sense of sophistication. The backgrounds of his paintings are typically thick, saturated pigment applied with a palette knife. His award winning paintings have been included in numerous juried and gallery exhibitions, and they hang in private and corporate collections throughout the country, as well as overseas. Jacob Farkas divides his time between painting in his studio and painting outdoors on location.
