After retiring from the Gift industry, I started my painting and craft business. A Wine and canvas painting class awoke my long-time interest in painting and opened many different creative doors. Learning to use Alcohol Ink is an ongoing challenge, and I love how vibrant, workable and versatile the inks are. This art translates so well on glass in framed glass window art and wine bottle lights and vases. Wool felting became an obsession after making one animal from wool roving and purchasing a starter kit. Being commissioned to re-create a person's cherished pet is a joyful experience. It is also a craft that i can take with me on the road! My Christmas decorations-creations are varied and include lighted/painted/alcohol ink ornaments, Garland wreaths, sprays and reindeer. Hosting art/craft classes is a related interest area, and fun to see how different the participants create the featured project. The Covid Pandemic brought a screeching halt to the art festival events, but, I am looking forward to exhibiting again in 2022 and meeting new customers and other artist-crafters.
