Janet Forbes Green is a retired math and science teacher who wanted to reinvent her talents as an artist. After experimenting with different mediums and methods she landed on the idea of crayon art. Each picture in her crayons and clay collection begins with the melting of crayons for use as background color. All the objects are formed with polymer clay giving it a three-dimensional effect. And acrylic overlay is used to protect and bring out the color of the art.
