Sombra y Luz photographs the Southwest: Far West Texas, Southern New Mexico, and Southeast Arizona. We process the images, using Adobe Lightroom, to reflect the photographer's vision when the image was captured. Virtually all of our work is printed in-house, primarily using Canon ChromaLife 100+ printers, ink and paper. However, very large paper prints, metal, and large canvas prints are printed off-site by excellent commercial labs.
Sombra y Luz (Shadow and Light) mattes prints in-house, using acid free materials and traditional T-hinge methods. We also print and assemble Note Cards in-house using top quality, acid free Red River matte photo paper. We sell our completed products only at Artist Markets and Festivals, simply because we like to know the people that support our work, and because it allows us to maintain our quality all the way to the end buyer. We do not sell online or resale anyone else's work.
