Jennie Buehrer, Naples, FL
Jennie grew up on a farm in Nebraska and when she wasn't in school or doing chores spent endless hours either with her best friend, a horse named Wimper or in an abandoned schoolyard which was surrounded by woods. These are some of her most treasured childhood memories and the beginning of her connection with The Faerie Realm and Mother Earth.
In 2011 Jennie was diagnosed with cancer which became her wake up call to listen to her intuition and inner yearnings and honor the soul within. Through the process of healing her body Jennie was led back to a vital part of herself that had gotten left behind........the artist that needed a creative outlet.
What began as a creative hobby where she could lose herself & help her body to heal has become a fulfilling passion. All of her pieces are one of a kind, she never knows what the clay will become or what colors will call to be used, and she seems to have more ideas than time to create. She is convinced the Faeries invade her dreams as she often awakens obsessed with an idea of something new to create.
Wimper Woodland collection is a tribute to a horse named Wimper. A Celebration of life, gratitude for the healing power of Nature & inspired by The Faerie Realm.
