My name is Jenny Pollard and I am a slave to Art. I can't escape my fate. If I don't create, I wilt and begin to fade. When I allow myself to tune in and create, I thrive.
For me art is everywhere, you just have to be able to see it. I am constantly inspired by the world around me. The feelings and images that come to me when I am inspired by the wonders that surround us are a major influence in my work.
I work with a wide range of themes, textures, media and subjects, but am drawn to the sea, and sea themes. We recently moved to Venice, Florida and have a lot of space, privacy, gardens and sub-tropical splendor. We have access to wonderful, and amazingly private, beaches very nearby. Living near the cost has been a dream come true! I have an art studio in our home, but often spill over to the dining room table, or our lanai, as I work on different projects.
