Jesh Yancey & The High Hopes are what Yancey calls a PsycheDeltaFolk band. With Yancey at the helm the High Hopes move between the limitless boundaries of Psychedelic Rock to the groove of the Alabama Delta with the spirit of Folk Music. Part JJ Cale, part John Prine, Yancey can tie the listener in knots while holding their attention as their toes tap along. Jesh Yancey is already standing on a firm foundation of quality music with his first two releases Livers and Diers, Yancey's first full-length album and Maybe It's The Drugs, Yancey's second release, both of which were recorded in the bustling music scene of Mobile, Alabama. Now living in Denver, Colorado, Jesh Yancey has kept the band rolling along the Front Range of the Rockies and back and forth to the Gulf Coast. Always looking for the next opportunity to get on stage and connect with those willing to listen, Yancey has only begun to hit his stride. With a new batch of songs in his pocket awaiting release, Yancey still keeps writing great American Music.
