Besio Studios Metal Art & Jewelry, New Port Richey, FL
I don't know what I want to do when I grow up. My style changes daily. I am eclectic in my tastes. I am into chainmaille and steampunk now, and creating inlay pieces from all the stones I have collected.
Right now I am doing custom jewelry, gold, silver, natural stones, wire wrapping, teaching Girl Scouts wire wrapping to keep the talent going.
I will be making a stab at steampunkery. I have had these watch pieces for years and have never been able to put them together that looks good to me. then I found out I was a perfectionist, you know, same amounts of everything, symmetrical placing and so on. Well, I have had to modify my thinking and I am slowing making some nice pieces of art.
I have also discovered that I make excellent musical chimes with the sheet metals I have collected before the prices went through the roof.
I will do only one show this year, Inverness Fine Arts Festival, Nov. 5-6, Inverness, FL. Last time I won 2nd place for my 3D art necklace
