11th Annual music festival - May 28-Jun 4, 2023 - Jewish Music Week presents a variety of concerts, recitals, lectures & films in easily accessible venues in the GTA for audiences of all ages.
This year we focus on Israel at 75 as well as Jewish songwriters.
We showcase an array of renowned international artists, some new to the festival, and some returning favourites.
We start this year “Remembering Burt Bacharach” in a concert of his well loved great hits; we also showcase music of Jerome Kerns standards, A Sondheim Jazz Project featuring some of Stephen Sondheim's brilliant works, and for Folk Music lovers The Debbie Friedman Songbook.
We feature Sephardic & Klezmer music, Broadway & Hollywood, Big Band & Jazz, Holocaust music & Israeli pop, Musical Theatre, Chassidic, Cantorial, Yiddish, Folk & Gospel, plus more.
All daytime events are free.
