We do Direct-To-Garment (DTG) printing, which is not at all like silk screening/screen printing or iron-ons, but is in fact a much higher quality product. We use what is essentially a large format ink-jet printer with fabric dyes, which prints directly into the fabric of the garment. What this means is that the dye is absorbed into the garment material and permanently bonded so we never have issues with fading, cracking or peeling.
Also, like your ink-jet at home or in your office, the printer uses the colors black, magenta, cyan, and yellow, but does not print white ink, so anything white will be the color of the garment. On white fabric, photographs and full color designs are beautiful! On darker garments, however, the image might not show up well, or at all in the case of black garments (imagine placing a black piece of paper in your ink-jet printer). Basically the color of the dye must be darker than the color of the garment to obtain good contrast. Apart from that, there is no limit to the colors that can be used in your artwork as well as graphic features such as gradient colors and drop shadows.
That being said, we stock a wide variety of lighter colored shirts thatwe have proven to deliver high quality color images.
We don’t charge any fees for artwork or setup, and there are no minimums required. You can work with our graphic designers to create your artwork, or bring in/send us a pre-existing image that you would like printed, and purchase a single shirt if that’s all you need, all at no extra charge! For larger orders, we offer 24 hour turnaround if we have the shirts in stock, but can usually have an order ready within 72 hours otherwise.
If you want to send us your artwork, then the file types that we typically use are: JPG, PNG, PDF, CDR, PSD, AI, and EPS. The only criteria is that the image size should be at least 300 dpi or 800 x 600 pixels if it is not vectored. This way, the image won’t pixilate or become blurry when we enlarge it for printing.
In addition to regular t-shirts, we also do other clothing styles, including polos, raglans, ringers, hoodies and sweatshirts, women’s (fitted, strappy, tanks), infant and toddler clothing, as well as non-garment items such as mouse pads, coasters, koozies, aprons, tote bags, bandanas, towels, and much more!
Our basic retail pricing for a single t-shirt is $15.99 for white, and $16.99 for colors, which includes the first print (the artwork is not limited by colors, text, or image!). Additional prints are $5.00 each. We do start printing discounts at 5 shirts, and at every 10 shirts through 120.
We are open Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 1 PM, and can be available at other hours upon request.
