Coming from a metal sculpture and later a theatre background with a focus on properties, I moved into the woodworking arena as a builder of fine reproduction work defined in the William-and-Mary to the Hepplewhite eras. I chose later to follow a more creative route focusing on the carving of TIKIs. I,ve added in other forms such as my finger bowls, snake tables, and various ephemera leading me of late to an interest in slab-work: tables mostly, using cedar slabs.
