Julie Jean White - a country singer/songwriter - was born in Minnesota and raised in Texas. Her songs have been put on hold by legends such as Carly Simon and George Jones, and have received accolades from both Billboard and American Songwriter magazine. White has been recognized as a finalist in the Kerrville New Folk Fest, the WildFlower Fest, the B.W. Stevenson contest (x2), and the Texaco Country Showdown.
