The jewelry that I craft is mainly composed of semi-precious gemstones, coral, shells, pearls, crystals and sterling silver, gold filled and copper findings and wires. Some quality vintage silver plated, vintage gold plated and gold vermeil beads are also used in some pieces. I also fabricate metal jewelry from sheets of sterling, fine silver, copper, bronze and brass using cold connections.
My maiden name is "Kaminski" which translates to son/daughter of stone.
After 37 years in Business Management with a large publishing company, in retirement I finally discovered my love of jewelry crafting and working with semi-precious gemstones. I started by making simple Christmas gifts for friends and family. It was then that I realized that I truly loved this craft and started Kaminski Jewelry Designs.
I was trained in the art field, so design, balance and color coordination I learned in that field easily translated to jewelry design.
