I am a portrait artist working primarily in charcoal and black pastel on white illustration board. I also create three and four string musical instruments from re-purposed cigar boxes, tin containers and license plates. I handcraft the necks from sustainable hardwoods, and install piezo pickups in each instrument so that it may be played acoustically or electrically.
