Female Country Music Singer/Songwriter currently seeking bookings for 2011.
Short Bio:
Karina began singing professionally as a young teen, touring in northern California and the Lake Tahoe area of Nevada. After moving with her family to Maryland at the age of 14 she became a regular on a weekly radio show, Country Showcase America, which was broadcast in Maryland and northern Virginia, and webcast to Europe. She performed regularly at fairs, festivals and special events in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Karina has opened shows for nationally known performers such as Linda Davis, Mila Mason and Mark Nesler. She sang the National Anthem to open a Labor Day game for the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards, as well as performing the National Anthem at Frederick Keys games in Frederick, Maryland. More recently she has performed in clubs and at events in Alabama and Tennessee.
In addition to being a gifted singer, Karina is also an accomplished songwriter and is affiliated with BMI. One of her songs, “Sadly Wrong”, was recorded by another artist and rose to number 11 on “Inside Country”. She is a Nashville recording artist and has co-written songs with other professional songwriters in Nashville. Karina has recently been in the studio recording her own songs for an upcoming CD, three of which have been recently released for download on iTunes as singles. These songs are “You Know Its True”, “You Belong With Me”, and “Anyone But Me”. Karina is currently working with skilled local musicians to form a band as she continues to pursue her goal to become a nationally recognized singer/songwriter.
