Kat Strickland is a Mixed Media artist. She focused on Ceramics from high school through college, and has been exploring and teaching different art mediums since then. Her work includes jewelry, table top treasure keepers like candle and pencil holders (mixed media), clay work, greeting cards, and collage water color and acrylic paintings. Her broad spectrum of work displays her willing attitude towards experimentation. It is all fresh and unique, and she teaches her students to let go of the fear around making a mistake."It's all part of the process." she claims. Kat has been an artist for over 40 years. She is more than willing to share her knowledge. She states, " Everyone needs to know as much as they can about the creative process, so they can carry the practice into other parts of their daily lives. It makes life so much more enjoyable!"
