I am a retired school teacher from Central Indiana. I taught Industrial Education and Physical Education for 30 years. After retiring my husband and we moved to Florida and now reside in Silver Springs Fl. I make a variety of different crafts,using a variety of media. I believe that sticking with one media make for a boring life. Really, it because I get bored and have to mix it up. I enjoy a challenge to be able to make and do things that I may have not done before. I will give you an example from my degrees in Teaching. Being an Industrial Education teacher, I taught general education to 7th graders, Manufacturing to 8th graders designing and mass producing different projects from design to production. I taught 9th grade electronics, power mechanics and small engine repair. Also, teaching black and white photography and graphic design.si Later, teaching Physical Education to 9-12 graders, developing fitness plans, curriculum and running an Intramural Program for many years. I grew up never backing down from a challenge, yes some things I am better at than others, but trying has been motto. Since moving to the Forest in Silver Springs I became a member of OBBChurch , Lynne Florida. I work with a group of Ladies that have a passion for sewing and crafts. Now my passion is Glorifying the Lord using my craft and sewing skills. All my profits go to my churches sewing Ministry to help the needs of my Community and Missions abroad.
