About Me: I have loved art my whole life. I started out with acrylics when I was about 13 and have moved to work with oils and pencils over the years. I studied with Ms. Vance, a renowned Birmingham artist to learn painting techniques. I am however, a self taught sketch artist. I am a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Communication and English. I also had the opportunity to teach p...ainting classes at the Sips N Strokes in Opelika, AL during my time at Auburn. I knew then that I would never give up being an artist. I hope to someday be able to make this passion of mine into something I can do full time. My dream is to open my own studio or store with other artist and encourage each other's artistic abilities.
I was born with a condition called schizencephaly. I believe that it has made me stronger as a person. Due to the condition, I have very limited use of my right hand. Fine motor movements are very difficult. Thankfully, God gave me the ability to express myself through art and hopefully inspire others.
