Have been handcrafting Mountain Dulcimers for quite a few years now. After hearing the music that comes from the Mountain Dulcimer I wanted to learn to build and play the instrument. Having been a woodworker most of my life it was a matter of doing the research to learn to build them properly. Using hardwoods native to Michigan never plywood. We have a variety of styles and designs in our Dulcimers. During the shows when possible, I demonstrate how to play and give instruction on how to play. Recently we (my wife Nancy and I work together with the crafts, as she is as much of the designer as I am) have developed a line of wooden puzzles using the designs from quilts, which gives us a high priced item and a lower priced item. Something for everyone.
