Kent Alexander is an award-winning versatile artist/painter. He taught college level painting and drawing for a number of years in California at SFSU, Monterrey Peninsula College and Diablo Valley College. He has previously shown and sold his work through the Artists Guild of San Francisco and other venues and galleries. His work has also been used in films such as Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Freaky Friday, Simone and CSI New York. Working primarily in oils with some, acrylics. Alexander works intuitively, exploring contemplative and reflective aspects of life. His most popular works are in the Nature Rhythms Series, exploring the rhythms and patterns of our natural world, increasing awareness of the world we live in. The range of his works encompasses figurative musings, star gazing, and lively, quirky, ideas.
