Kerry King, Riverside, TX
I am semi retired from the construction industry after 35 years of building, I have been crafting wood proucts for approx 30 years and now work out of my shop at home creating rustic wall and garden art. I live in the Trinity river bottoms in south east Texas, just outside of a small town by the name of Riverside TX. population 501, when I got here.
I gather alot of my materials and ideas from being in the the woods and on the river. one of the items I craft arewalking sticks, I gather drift wood from the river and craft walking sticks where the bark has either been washed off from being in the river for a time or a local beaver has removed it and using it in his or her lodgeing.
The best part of it all is, I get to learn something new everday and get to enjoy the gifts of Mother Nature. I am truley blessed and gratefull for the abilities I have been given to creat & craft.
