Moving from New York City to Las Vegas in 1987, Kevon Tyrre began his love for music at 15. By 17 he joined the high school choir and ended up enrolled in the choir for Clark County in 1993.
After college, Kevon began competing in singing competitions and since then has performed in restaurants, bars, nightclubs, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, MONDAYS DARK (Vegas based show that raises money for charity & non profits), Holland American Cruise Line and nearly every casino on the famous Las Vegas Strip & Laughlin, NV.
He created a SADE/MAXWELL revue with with Las Vegas based singer RITA LIM & co- created a GENESIS/POLICE revue as well as opened for AL B. SURE, TROOP, DONELL JONES, JAY LENO THE SPAZMATICS & currently cast as MORRIS DAY in Purple Reign at Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas.
He has written lyrics for local, national & international acts and has received one award (America's Rising Star) from Black Music Awards Las Vegas & mentors in the HOB Music Forward Foundation.
